(SCC) — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its upcoming 2024 second quarter professional development training focusing on “Effective Communication in the Workplace.” This event will be hosted by Kevin Bautista, MPA, Executive Director of the NMC President at Northern Marianas College. The training will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at TPOD 1, NMC Campus and for the convenience of participants, it offers two sessions: morning from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and afternoon session from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The aim of the training is to equip participants with key communication skills that will increase productivity and success in the workplace. The agenda includes:

1) Study of basic elements:

○ Embracing active listening and transparency to support effective communication in professional environments.

2) Navigating the dynamics of interpersonal and mass communication:

○ Introducing strategies for planning and delivering impactful messages that support informed decision-making both verbally and in writing.

We encourage participants to bring their own computer or mobile device to maximize their training experience.
