FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – A fire early Sunday morning in Fond du Lac destroyed a detached two-car garage and damaged multiple vehicles.

According to the Fond du Lac Fire Department, dispatch responded to a report of a serious garage fire at 500 County Road K around 1:20 a.m. on June 30.

When crews arrived on scene, the garage roof had already collapsed and the fire had spread to a delivery van that was parked next to a separate garage.

Authorities say the fire was extinguished in about 30 minutes and crews continued to fight the blaze for another hour, which was “complicated by debris from the collapsed roof.”

One vehicle and its trailer were completely destroyed, as was a truck outside. Another vehicle, a quad bike, and two other smaller garages suffered heat damage from the fire.

No injuries were reported and no residents were displaced.

The cause of the fire is still unknown. No other details were provided.
