Truck falls into river as Manipur bridge collapses

Imphal, June 30 (SocialNews.XYZ) A bridge over the Imphal river in Manipur’s Imphal West district collapsed on Sunday when a truck loaded with timber was passing over it. The vehicle fell into the water, officials said.

Police said the truck driver is currently missing and rescue operations are ongoing.




Local residents rescued three people from the truck, which was still in flooded water.
