Gottmik’s Drag Race Upper Body Appearance Named ‘Best on the Show’

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Gottmik wowed judges and fellow queens with a look commemorating her plastic surgery.

The queen, who is the first trans man to participate in the RPDR program, hit the runway with a powerful look, including two prosthetic arms holding scalpels wrapped around her bare torso and two bleeding incisions on her chest to symbolize surgery. Gottmik also had “two Swarovski crystal boobs” in a clear bag.

That look won over Mama Ru, who announced that Gottmik had won the challenge and earned $10,000 for his chosen charity, Trans Lifeline.

“I don’t even know what to say about this look, other than THANK YOU. This look is beyond me,” Gottmik wrote on Instagram.

“This is a piece of art and fashion that represents something I never thought I could openly talk about, let alone wear on the runway @rupaulsdragrace.

“This look reflects the pain and suffering I have experienced while experiencing complete transgender queer freedom in a way that I hope everyone who sees it will one day feel.
