Workplace Milk Thieves Stopped Thanks to Clever Padlock System… and a Trap

Stealing someone’s milk from the office to drink your own tea is one of the worst workplace crimes.

One man came up with an idea for a solution to this problem: a padlock attached to the cap of a milk carton, which can only be opened with a key.

As you can see in the photo, one office worker went to extreme measures to keep the milk to himself.

Or they went to the extreme of adding a padlock in Photoshop to a photo of a milk container in the fridge.

The photo was posted on Reddit by user banginthehead, who wrote, “The milk at work situation is getting serious.”

But the story doesn’t end there. It looks like the milk situation actually got more serious, as banginthehead later posted a photo of a milk container that not only had a padlock attached to it, but also what looked like an explosive trap.

On the second photo he wrote: “The milk situation has not improved.”

Of course, there is a simple and fairly common way to improve the milk situation: everyone in the office just has to chip in to buy it or have the company pay for it.
