On Wednesday morning, July 3, a child was feared dead when a building collapsed at 10 Cameroon Street in Mushin, Lagos.

Seven other residents were reportedly rescued from the rubble by sympathizers.

According to The Nation, a resident reported that the building collapsed as a result of heavy rains that hit many districts of Lagos.

She added that at the time of filing this report, the Lagos rescue team had not yet responded to any emergency calls.
