Victorville patrol unit crashes into apartment building; no injuries reported – VVNG.com

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — On Friday morning, a Victorville Police patrol accidentally struck an apartment building in Victorville.

The single-vehicle crash was reported at approximately 9:40 a.m. on July 5, 2024, at the northwest intersection of Seneca and Hopi streets.

A tow truck arrived to remove the vehicle, but the driver was advised to wait. The deputy on scene mentioned that the wall may be compromised and that Victorville City Public Works would respond to further assess the situation.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Gloria Huerta told VVNG that “there were two deputies on patrol, neither of them were injured.”

The vehicle was eventually towed from the scene on an open bed truck, with the wall visibly damaged by the impact.

Huerta added that the cause of the crash is under investigation and no further details are available at this time.
